“Everything at Swarovski starts from crystal - it is the protagonist, the hero, a constant source of inspiration. My work as Global Creative Director of Swarovski is about valorizing our iconic material, celebrating its joyful extravagance, and drawing brilliance from its every facet.

I curated this chamber as an ode to Swarovski Crystal. It celebrates Swarovski’s history as creators of crystal - and our modern heritage as a jewelry brand since 1977. Inspiration comes from the savoir-faire of our artistry, the geometric form of each jewel, the prism of color that crystal creates when charmed by light. These have each shaped my designs - crystal cuts inspire the forms of our modern icons: the Millenia, the Lucent, the Harmonia, the Mesmera. All crystallize our DNA.

The pure beauty of crystal is exceptional - it is a material whose depths are filled with infinite possibilities. Looking at Daniel Swarovski’s philosophy, I realize that he saw the science and the magic of crystal. Crystal is a paradox: it is about logic and geometry, but also about pure emotion. For me, the true beauty of crystal is in its feeling, the sheer joy and rapture it evokes in everyone.”
